Remote Learning Contingency Plan

Schools are required to have a remote learning plan in place so that any child, who cannot attend school because of COVID-19, does not miss out on their learning. We have already been doing this informally on many occasions since the Covid outbreak began, when individual children have had to isolate as a precautionary measure due to family/close contacts outside of school.

Our remote learning contingency plan formalises what we will offer as a school and has been written with all our pupils and their families in mind, and is based on the experiences and feedback that we received during the full lockdown of March 2020.

The remote learning contingency plan explains in detail what our plan is for remote learning for children who have to self-isolate, or where local or national restrictions mean that children need to stay at home.  We believe that this strategy will work best for the children at our school.
